Wild & Precious began simply as "The McLeod's" in 2007 with a basic background and this painting as the header image.  Posts were personal and sporadic.  I had no followers, only family as readers -- but I loved everything about it.  In January of 2010 (as a new years resolution) I began to expand by hosting my first blog swap.  In March '10 I created & began my Wiggle Project -- each week introducing several new blogs and a new musical artist to my readers.  Officially becoming "Wild & Precious" in the spring of 2010, things quickly began to evolve from there with more blog firsts (giveaway, guest post, and sponsors).  It didn't take long for me to come a blogaholic.  My work and my family time was being sacrificed -- something I just was not okay with!  After finding out I was pregnant  I took a blog sabbatical at the end of 2010.  With a very honest confession to my readers I returned back to blogging in the early winter of 2011 with a commitment to keep things real. This little blog of mine has made many changes in format and feature (for better and for worse), but one thing remains the same, I am so thankful for the blogging community and all of the love and support I receive from this little place on the web.
