Ready to Rock?! 4moms rockaRoo review & giveaway.

Remember when I shared the super-duper-go-go-gadget stroller a few weeks back? I'm so in love with all things baby gear that 4moms brings to the world -- the technology matched with aesthetic, safety, & efficiency. I'm way excited today to share with you the newest piece of gear from 4moms, the rockaRoo which will be available for general sale later this month! 

((First off, if you are familiar with 4moms products at all, your first question might be what the difference is between the new rockaRoo and their other similar looking chair, the mamaRoo.  While the momaRoo is designed to mimic the soothing familiar movements of parents with 5 different swaying side to side motions, the 4moms rockaRoo flips the traditional swing on its head. Literally. It rocks like a rocking horse, which maximizes the sensation of motion for your baby.  Both chairs are great... more on that a little later.))

My personal thoughts?  I love it.  And Henry?  I'm pretty sure he is hooked.  One of my favorite things about it, is that it is quiet!! No super loud motor or whiny parts -- a soft subtle and perhaps even soothing noise as it rocks. 

Another amazing thing about this rocker that might get overlooked is how light weight and easy it is to assemble.  I haven't tried, but I bet I could pick it up with just a finger or two.  And literally, it assembles in 3 minutes or less (see it assembled in this video).  You moms know how much you wish you had your swing or bouncer or some sort of extra seat for baby when you go on road trips to non-baby houses/hotels/etc... well this is literally so easy and compact, there is no reason not to throw it into your trunk and tote it along!  Actually, one of my only suggestions to 4moms to improve this seat, would be to make a travel tote to go with it.  For serious.

I've had the pleasure of also enjoying a mamaRoo and though I hate to answer this question, I know that it's what everyone really wants to know... which one would I choose / which do I like better, the momaRoo vs. the rockaRoo?  Well, in a perfect world, I would most definitely choose both!  Both the mamaRoo and rockaRoo have successfully soothed my baby, both are of equal quality and functionality... but at this very moment, if you twist my arm, I'd have to pick the rockaRoo for my little man (Just don't ask me again in 5 minutes because I might change my mind).  While the mamaRoo is fairly small and quiet itself, the rockaroo is even smaller and even quieter. I also choose the rockaRoo because I think it is what baby H (3 1/2 months & 18lbs) is choosing right now as well.  He likes the subtle back and forth of the level 2 rocking.
