M vs. H // Then vs. Now
Top two pictures are me this past weekend when I hit week 27 with Baby H. The bottom two pictures I posted here on the blog when I hit 27 weeks with baby M (who will be 2 next month!)... The comparison is so interesting to me.
With the pictures, honestly, I'm not sure I can tell a real difference? Weight wise, I have no remembrance where I was my last pregnancy at this time. I could have sworn I was gaining way more this time... but the pictures don't really show that to be true. And maybe I'm carrying baby boy H (top pics) a little lower? And maybe my tum tum is a bit bigger? Who knows! And lets be for reals, doesn't really matter.
I gave a third trimester rant this time last pregnancy... was feeling I was running out of time and was paralyzed by making decisions preparing to be a first time mom. This time (and I've said it before) I'm carrying a lot light load (at least metaphorically).
Here's what's the same though...
Both babies are fiercely loved and I have been beyond humbled, proud, and honored to get to carrying them... all the burdens of pregnancy beared, both the season carrying M and this season of carrying H have been two of my greatest joys and most important life journeys. Thankful.

I think they really look almost the same! but yes in the first pics belly looks lower....I miss being pregnant! is one of the best feelings in the world :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Those photos show a crazy resemblance! It's so fun to wonder whether he will look like M or totally different!
ReplyDeletehow blessed they are to have a mama like you, too! i would have guessed the photos were all taken at the same time. but you do look like you're carrying a bit lower this time around!
ReplyDeletePerfect baby bellies all around!!! So cute!
ReplyDeleteI am amazing at how many people have opinions about what a belly should look like at a certain time (one woman said to me last week - "Wow, do you have two in there?" Hm.) I think you look lovely and hope you are enjoying yourself!
ReplyDeleteLovely bump shots. I don't see much of a difference either-- both cute!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am new to your blog and just love it... you are too cute :)
ReplyDeleteI am 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I completely agree third trimester is rough and the "to do" is never ending but it is all so worth it! I has a question.... where are your pants from? They look super comfortable and I refuse to put on pants because all the one's I have are awful. I have been living in maxi skirts from PinkBlush (http://www.pinkblushmaternity.com) Maternity or picking up an inexpensive pair from TJ Maxx or Target. Xo, Marie
