Ornaments and Bone Marrow

Well... first of all we have some awesome friends and family (this is nothing new)...When I made the post about our Christmas tree, Max, and his lack of ornaments..I honestly was not making a sneaky plea for anyone to send any. However, I must just say that Mr. Andrew Logan, the lovely Rozell's (thanks Rev!), and dear Mary McLeod (my MIL) have all made Max (and of course us)extremely happy...just check these out!: On another note, we were in Birmingham briefly last week. Our great friend Zack Lindsay was sent home early from Uganda because of a spreading ebola virus (scary!). It was so wonderful to see him. While we were there though, I found out that I am a potential bone marrow donor!! Crazy. Right now they are still figuring out if I am THE best match...I might have to go in for some extra testing like a physical and blood testing, but I may end up not being the match. I'm pretty excited about it. I mean what a great experience, to be able to be used in that capacity to give life and not only that but also just praying through the whole process. We just arrived at my parents for Christmas and are so excited. We love you all.

To add to the last blog... I helped Deana Carter buy jeans for her son yesterday. All the country folk are just coming out for Santa... got to love Nashville!

Celebrity Sightings

Okay, so Christmas shopping brings out everyone. In the past week I have seen Faith Hill and Leann Rimes out shopping for goodies. Faith came into Lucky while I was working, I offered her help .. turned away for one second...and she was gone. Then today David and I kept running into Leanne and her boyfriend/husband/(I don't know what he was) while we were running around Greenhills Mall doing some "Blair has a new job" shopping. Just thought I would fill you in...

Guess who has a job!!!??!!

Alright, I can't announce anything too specific at this moment... but either way... I WILL BE STARTING A NEW JOB ON JAN 2nd!! Please be praying for discernment and the working out of all the details. I will excitedly fill you in on everything as soon as I can. Thanks for being part of this prayer journey with us.

December 11th & its 74 Degrees Today.

Max

Our first Christmas together! We are just loving this season. We found what we consider an awesome tree (which we refer to as Max... that is his middle name.. his first name is Chris... Chris Max... get it? Chrismax/Christmas...)and we have opted for white lights (2 packs for 3$), gold beads (3$ for the whole deal) and then we have perhaps 6 ornaments which we have accumulated. Overall... we love Max. Oddly enough however we have no "Our first Christmas" ornaments... I would have thought we would received a good many of them (although I suppose there is still time so I will continue to excitedly anticipate at least one!)Isn't he lovely?!

On another note.. it is time for a "JS" update... my boss from my Americorps postion called me today to let me know that Prevent Blindness had called to check my references, so that is a positive sign. AND I also have another interview set up for Friday @ 3:15 at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art as Volunteer Coordinator.
So I am just so excited about both of these new reminders that He is working on things for me and already has a perfect plan!

As ALWAYS (shall we not forget) God is so faithful.
