You know that snapchat filter.  The one with the yellow butterflies that people are always wanting to wear in real life waking and sleeping?  Part of the reason it is so awesome is because it gives a perfect nude lip.  I for one am loving this lip trend.  Bold lipstick can be super fun, but I love the wearability of these more understated tones.

I have loved getting to try several shades and finishes of bareMinerals New Gen Nude Lip colors for perfect nude lips.  They've got just about every shade covered -- 60 different shades in 4 different finishes.

I've found the lipstick finish to be kind of sheer which I really like as it makes it impossible to have a cakey look.  It's unscented and flavored and pretty moisturizing for a lipstick.  The matte lip gloss is top notch of the different matte lip color I've tried.  It doesn't dry up completely, which is in my opinion keeps you from getting cracked lip color.  It too is even a bit moisturizing.  The matte is not unscented, but kind of smells like chocolate so its yummy.  The buttercream gloss I haven't worn as much, but I'm super thankful to find that it is not sticky, is moisturizing (works on slightly chapped lips), and has a sweet scent.  So far, my favorite combo is the "crush" radiant lipstick paired with the "freestyle" under over liner (worn below).
