Last weekend I met up with my college roommate and bestie for a quick girls weekend in Birmingham, Alabama -- she is getting married in June!!  Her sister-in-law has a friend who works at a resort and spa that is right out side of town and we got upgraded to an amazing suite.  Since my sleep is broken (thank you children who wake up by 5:30am daily) I woke up early per-usual.  We had morning appointments at the spa for massages, but I decided to start my early morning while the others slept by doing my own every-day-favorite spa treatment!

One thing that has kept me away from regular skin care routines is that I just didn't know where to start and what to get.  I just get overwhelmed.  So many choice with so many chemicals.  The ladies at bareMinerals helped find me the perfect 3 step beauty ritual.  And the ingredients simplicity and power sold me.

My 3 step routine (review).

1/ Purify. 

I was matched with Clay Chameleon Transforming Purifying Cleanser.  Oh man.  First of all - this stuff smells amazing.  Second - I've never felt a cleanser that was so gentle and at the same time, I felt like it was really making a difference.  My skin instantly feels like all the weight of the day has disappeared.  It doesn't dry out my skin and even without using the next two steps, I could go to bed happy and comfortable just using this.

2/ Empower.

The second part of the routine is the Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion.  You've probably even seen a commercial for this magic stuff.  I love that unlike most other skincare routine lines, this isn't an abrasive toning liquid!  This is all about adding minerals and nutrients to you skin instead of stripping things away.  Look at these ingredients! I use this morning and night after cleansing.  I know I'm only 31, but I do feel age creeping into my skin.  This product is the star of this routine.  Its working to defend against future signs of aging.  My skin feels softer and glowier.  

3/ Moisturize.

The True Oasis Oil-Free Replenishing Gel Cream.  The perfect for my oily to combination skin.  Hydrates without feeling wet or slimy.  There are two other great moisturizers to finish with depending on your skin type and the different seasons your skin can go through.
