Holiday Cheer
Quite accidentally we ended up Thanksgiving day with a genius idea. A toddler float! M loves balloon. Quite frequently at the grocery store she will talk us, her grandparents, uncle, whoever she is with into purchasing her one.
Thanksgiving morning, while my parents-in-law were preparing lunch for 30+ this personal float was the perfect place for my busy almost 2-1/2-year-old to feel special and stay put all at the same time. We had the balloons from the previous day shopping preparation and she was easily talked into watching the "big balloons." We clipped them to her high chair and her own personal float was born.
She woke up the next morning and asked for it all again -- ready to watch more parade from her float. Sadly, she'll have to wait until Christmas, but you can bet, she'll have her own float!
