Even if I'm not going anywhere (still on maternity leave) I like to get dressed.  I'm not a subscriber to the "mom uniform."  I just can't really function.  If I have on my cozy clothes my brain never progresses out of a cozy place.  So I get dressed (note, this does not mean a shower all the time or make up... but an outfit).  Doesn't have to be fancy.  But getting dressed helps me face the day -- even if the days events are washing the dishes, changing the laundry, putting bandaids on fake boo boos, and nursing an ever hungry baby boy.

That's not so say I don't still rock some sweats! -- I just try to incorporate them into an intentional outfit.   Like this cat sweatshirt from skip & whistle, it's not just for napping people!  And though I've never been a cat person, I'm totally into this shop and all its whimsy.
