Yup.  One picture today.  That has kinda been what life is lately.  A little too busy.  A little too tired.  It was a hard week.  Lots to do.  A VERY "busy" two-year-old with lots of demands.  A very sore pregnant momma.  A husband who is working his tail end off on construction to hopefully get us into our new room in time for baby + still running his business.  End of summer youth events.  A messy house.  Lots of fruit flys.  Planning maternity pictures.  A toddler watching too much t.v. and a family eatting non-real-meals too many times.  Potty training & Sunday school writing.  Trying to revel in our alone time at night.  And the struggle of whether to get more work done during M's nap or take one myself.

I'm not complaining.  Keeping it real.  That is our life lately.  And it is beautiful.

  1. I'm glad your days are full of good things...even if it can be overwhelming! Well, at least that's how I feel sometimes!

And the fruit flies...seriously the bane of my existence.

  6. That sounds a lot like my summer! We're down for the count with summer colds after weeks of too many activities!

  7. Blair thanks for keeping it real. And you should take a nap too. Its so much easier when there is only one. When more come, its not as likely. Things will get done when then get done. Sending rest, strength and peace your way!!!!
