One of daily blog reads and long time blogging buddy, Sandy A La Mode has a regular "Flavors to Follow" series -- aptly named after her ice cream themed blog name -- and I just love following her flavors.  She shares her picks of favorites from ankle booties to fashion all in the color maroon.  She always does the best job of making a collection of items that fit each flavor.  You can check out all the collections of her flavors over on her blog.  I asked if she would mind If I took a spin at her "flavors to follow" series to share with you a new favorite of mine -- quartz jewelry...

It seems like this is the jewelry in middle school I would have called "crystals" and made fun of people for.  Shame on me.  Cause this jewelry rocks (pun very much intended).  I love how it sparkles and shines and I especially love the druzy quartz with the rough finish.  All can be so easily dressed up or dressed down.  It's bling without being over dramatic.  I am loving my massi quartz necklace via style mined!  My jewelry box just recently sent me a memo that it needs more of it.
