Well friends -- It's wedding weekend!  My sissy, my minute-younger-than-me twin sister, is getting married.  We're all pretty excited around here.  A little over a year and a half ago I featured Vatne designs on my blog and my sister fell in love.  She was not yet engaged at the time, but catalouged it her mind as her go to place for her bridal jewelry.  The ever sweet and generous designer of the shop, Neallie, provided Jessica (thats her real name... but to me, she is sissy).  I'd love for your to hop on over to her site and just revel in the beauty of her designs.  You will love it (and maybe find a few gifts or things for yourself...).  Below is a little Q&A to get to know Neallie better...

   

How did you get into designing jewelry? // I have always enjoyed making jewelry, but it wasn't until I had a career in the bridal industry that I fell in love with wedding jewelry. There is something about the soft colors and bright sparkle that capture my attention and keeps me creating.

What do you love most about weddings?  // Everything! I especially love when a bride sends me photos of her wearing a piece of jewelry that I have handmade for her Big Day, that is really something special.

One piece of advice for brides to be when picking out wedding accessories? // Have fun with your accessories and mix it up a little. A little pop of color or an unexpected detail can add a little something extra special to your complete look.
