getting rid of excess baggage

One thing that makes a momma's life easier is a good bag.  Sometimes - between the computer bag, the diaper bag, and a purse I just feel like a bag lady and with all the straps around my neck and shoulders plus toting a 20 pounder I can start feeling like I should have trained for olympic body building or something.  That's where this old school american bag from Conversation Pieces comes in... its the perfect size to help me condense some of my excess baggage.  When M and I are running short errands around town or even into the office I can throw in my calendar and my notepad, my wallet, a diaper, burp cloth, and a snack (for both of us), and other purse necessities.  Plus it zips shut which I learned very quickly after she became mobile is a must!  I love that it has a full strap, but also has handles for a quick grab.  I get compliments on it everywhere I go.  In three words: I love it.

...I hope everyone has some great & restful plans for your (hopefully) day off today.  Don't forget among the boat rides and bbq to thank our service men and women and to remember those who have served (and given their lives) in the past.

  4. Lovely! And then you will cry when Magnolia figures out how to unzip zippers. Simultaneously with learning how to climb on chairs to retrieve things with zippers. Ask me how I know.... Hehe.
