Food for Thought

What would this mean in your life today? What would happen if you, right now, but aside the fear of being wrong? Would you work differently? Would you have a different job all together? Would you make the bold move to start the DIY you've always wanted to try? What are the things you aren't doing because you lack the confidence and assurance that it will turn out right in the end?
To quote a great song: "Go do. You'll know how to. Just let yourself." -- Jonsi
p.s. here's some real life inspiration of a dear blog friend who put fear aside and totally rocked her dream!
I see amazing posters like this all the time. I think I need to strat a collection and one day plaster them all over my son's room. I think at age 10 - 15 - 18....these would be amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is so incredibly profound! I know I always have to be right but never thought that prevented me from being creative. Until now. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteI needed to read this today. I've been writing a novel for some time & I keep re-writing it & editing it because I feel like it's wrong that it doesn't work or people aren't going to like it. I need to just do it & let it roll. You gotta break out of your shell so you can see the sun! =)
ReplyDeleteHey Lady! I'm running a small giveaway over at my blog! If you get a chance check it out!!

ReplyDeletelove that print! and it seems as though the universe really wants me to embrace this concept because this message has been coming to me in different forms from different places for the past couple days. so thanks for this! and LOVE jonsi!
ReplyDeleteTo me this means something a little different. If I wasn't wrong then I would be more confident in living and making my own beliefs on life.
ReplyDeletewow heavy stuff..pondering all these questions every day...love this print so incrediable. yes i would have a different job i would try and take that leap to become full blast artist rather then just on the side...it is who i am and it is hard to be able to do it 3 hours a day after a long day at a boring job...i have faith though that my dreams will finally come true!
ReplyDeletexo,

ReplyDeletethis is a quote i read when i was younger and its always something i remember and think about. what would i do? i dont know..possibly the same thing as what i am doing now, but with ten times the drive.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm...has no one noticed it is supposed to be lose and not loose? How has no one seen that....I spit my drink out when I read it!
ReplyDeletei think it is intentional... going on with the meaning of the quote... what would have happened if that artist decided not to make the print because he was afraid of spelling things correctly!?
