farm + tidbits

farm wedding

This was my second time to the farm.  David grew up going to this little piece of country heaven with his childhood friend, Noel {thanks Noel!}.  It is so beautiful and our hosts were just amazingly hospitable.  I loved everything about this weekend -- including the new adventure of attending "open hunt."  And by that I mean driving up to a hill and listening for the horn and the dogs bark and keeping an eye open for "red coats." (kind of hard to explain).  I also wore my new cowboy boots {justin bent rail} from my sweet sponsor Langston's.  They were perfect.  Plus... I looked pretty cute!

other tidbits...

{1} Since David helped me with my new layout, I'm letting him help me do my next review with CSN.  I'm trying to talk him into some new dining room chairs, but I promised he gets to choose whatever he wants!  I'll keep you posted...

{2} I'm so thankful it is voting day.  I'm so tired of the ads and all the phone calls I get blasting me with propaganda.

{3} I mentioned my rad boots... get excited because they'll soon be a chance to get some of your own right here on W&P

{4} a HUGE thank you to Melissa & Jaymie for including me in Love, Illustrated!  You must go over to Melissa's blog, Oh, My Darling & check out the darling illustration Jaymie did of David and me.  You can also see more of Jayme's work HERE.
