  17. fliesssssss!!!! We've had gnats ALL SUMMER LONG! They are finally almost gone. We actually just set out some apple cider vinegar and honey. Saw it on the internet, and I guess it worked. I don't know if it would be the same for flies though.

    Have a fun meet up!

We should do a big Tennessee meet-up sometime :) I know at least 3 or 4, and I'm sure there are tons more!

  19. I'm from Annie's Musings - as you might have guessed - thank you so much for your comment! and ohhhhh my goodness! I just got really excited - I hopped over and was reading your last several posts and you mentioned a} your mission trip to Honduras, and b} your trip to Michigan. I am SO astounded. I'm half-Honduran and from Michigan! crazy! Plymouth is near where I live and Grandville is near where I go to school. I think you'll love Ann Arbor! I've only been there a couple times, but enough to know that living in AA would have been a pretty awesome experience. If you want to know anymore about places to visit in MI, please feel free to ask - even if I don't know specific places in certain areas, I know people who do!

As for Honduras: my grandparents live in La Lima, which is right outside San Pedro Sula. There's a fifty percent chance that that's the airport you flew into - I think the only other international airport in Honduras is in Tegucigalpa. We stayed with my grandparents for a while and then took side trips to the island of Roatán and to the Mayan ruins in Copán. If you'd like to hear more about it I'll be posting about it on my blog, hopefully soon. But I would love to hear all about your trip! If you have the time and inclination, please email me at anniesmusings {at} gmail {dot} com.

Sorry for the novel-length ramble - I'm just so excited to hear that you've been to Honduras and are coming to MI!

  23. This is so great! I quit my miserable 9 to 5 job last year and I have not regretted a minute of it! I love Sandy! That is so fab, Mr. Deer knows a lot of my blogger friends, too, it's just so cool! I wish there were more Savannah bloggers so I could hook up with them! XX!

  24. My boyfriend does the same thing about my friends! I have a friend named Mary, who writes a blog called For Realsies, and every time I mention her my boyfriend says, "Mary...for realsies?!"
