Wiggles {summer blues}
It is almost the end of summer and quite frankly -- I'm so happy. I feel like I get backwards seasonal depression. Most people it is winter... but this summer I've spent way too much time being bummed out that I've not been out on a million adventures -- missing all the summers in college and even high school before the need to be responsible started rearing its ugly head. I've wanted/needed a lot more wiggle room this summer than what I was allotted. Slightly over a year ago David & I were galavanting around the pacific northwest for the first time. Man I fell hard -- I'm so in love with everything out there. I still love the south & won't be moving, but Washington & Oregon top the charts for favorite U.S. vacation destinations. I wish I were there now! Here's a random sampling of our trip...
Since I can't be out galavanting around the world I love that by visiting new blogs & listening to new music I can get little glimpses of new places and new adventures.

Such cute photos! I'm one of those people who get pretty depressed around wintertime and then perk up around springtime then get depressed again because of allergies. This summer does feel as though it's dragging, though.

I have been feeling the same way this summer. It's hard not to compare your life to others' and feel like you're missing out. That's how I have been feeling. But it's a new day and a new season (almost), and we have so much to be thankful for!
