A Lavatory Dream

David's and my house was built in 1940, which means it has 1 bathroom... 1 very small bathroom to be exact. So, I find myself sometimes daydreaming about something a bit more luxurious...

  1. Oohh, I love them all! I am definitely a fan of the separate tub and shower idea, and I would love to have a claw foot tub in our bathroom one day!

  6. ugh I am with you girl. I like the 2nd to last all white. Our bathrooms are so ugly and outdated... in the process of getting up the energy to change what we don't like...

  7. i'm with you on that! the house we're renting has one tiny bathroom with the most awkward, tight layout. i dream of having a double sink and a claw foot tub one day. so cool your house was built in the 40s... is it craftsman style by chance?

  18. I dream about bathrooms like this all the time. I very badly want a shower that I don't have to slightly crouch down so my head doesn't knock the showerhead (I don't know why anyone build that so low -- I'm not even that tall). And that mirror with the wood trim? It's such a statement piece.
