We're back from a great long weekend in "the ham." With iced latte in hand we spent some time strolling through the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Admission is totally free. Such beauty at no cost is such a treat. It's stuff like this that really works to make a city great. (Hint hint Nashville - it's your turn!) What kind of free wonders does your city hold?

I love the flowers in the last picture. I saw them last weekend at the farmer's market, but the name escapes me! Do you know what they are called?

  8. This is sooooo awesome! I go by the Botannical Gardens every once in a while, since I am in Birmingham. That is great that you enjoyed the beauty there. Next time you guys come down, you should definitely stop by Yogurt Mountain on the way there. It is delish! Beautiful pictures! :)

(and your outfit is perfect, by the way. all the way down to the starbucks iced latte!!)
