Meet the designer:

Q: When did you start designing & what inspires you?

A: I have been doing all sorts of different types of crafts forever (sewing, painting, candles, scrapbooking, etc.), but I started creating hair pins about a year ago, just for fun. I just recently started to design headbands. I am currently working on trying to incorporate different types of products into my shop. I love cute, simple things, not too flashy or showy; and I thin I am mostly inspired by thing found in nature.

Q: What do you do when you aren't crafting?

A: I work full time for an engineer (don't worry, it's not too exciting so I won't go into detail!), so i actually don't have tons of free time. Currently I am planning my wedding in the fall (yay!), and we like to spend a lot of time workign on our house. I am a big DIY-er. I also have two energetic dogs (a Husky & mini Aussie) that I have to keep busy daily. And... I may or may not watch a little too much TV :)

Q: Do you have a celebrity muse?

A: I would love to say i do, but I can't say that I am really inspired by any "celebrities." I read a lot of blogs and there are a ton of both well-known & not-so-known individuals that I would call my muses. I like to be very supportive of the handmade community so that is probably why I am inspired by the success of many women that can make a living off their homemade goods. A couple of my favorites are Elsie & Leigh-Ann.
