Can I Brag for a Second?!

David won second place in a national contest for this charcoal he did of yours truly (check it out here) . I came home from work one day to see that he had started & finished this piece from a picture he took of me a couple years ago & just loved it immediately.

McLeod Art, Blair

David's also got some new stuff up on his website that's fantastic (if I do say so myself). I'm really loving this one:

Oh -- and here's a little secret: we're thinking up a blog giveaway of some McLeod Art...

Oh and if you ever want to try Yoga but don't feel like going to a studio to try, there is a great website called Yoga Today http://www.yogatoday.com/. I believe you can still try one class a week for free.

My mother-in-law is taking classes for painting and right now she is trying to draw a portrait of our daughter and she says it's difficult to draw the face, so your hubby must be very talented!
