Wiggles {royal edition}

Okay, little glimpses into my middle school years for you.  So when you are 6-10 you play house right?  Well, enter my 11th/12th year instead of playing house, we play "double date."  My friend and I would both have an imaginary boyfriend and then we would go sit the in the car with said imaginary boyfriend and pretend we were at a drive in (embarrassing, I know!).  Who was my boyfriend you might ask?...Not even joking -- I switched it up between Prince William & JFK Jr.  Yea, I was weird.  Do you remember when all the teeny bopper magazines like Tiger Beat, Bop, etc?  I can't find a picture of the web to prove it, but I definitely had a poster of him in my room!  Now he's all grown up, engaged, and talking about making heirs to the kingdom!

and his fiance? I haven't really followed the couple much, but I'm quickly drawing the conclusion that she is a pretty stylish and sweet (future) principeta. Check out Helena's (a UK resident) post on the couple HERE.

{If you've been wiggled today or in the past, head to the wiggle page, pick up your badge, and check out the other blogs and music on the list... and as always, keep sending me your blog and music suggestions!}

So, what say you about the royal excitement? Will you be glued to following all the wedding planning? What about my UK readers? What is the excitement like there?

  1. Girl, you had classy taste in fake boyfriends. I always opted for Benny the Jet from The Sandlot. Though I have to say, my 11 year old self had good taste. That boy is cute!

  2. Im so happy for them both and I think she is so lovely and so stylish....Its also great to see that she has Diana's ring:) Very special!
    Kisses, my dear

Ps: I’m hosting a Pistacho Press GIVEAWAY today, so please join in :)

  3. She's so pretty and I can't wait to see her wedding details!

  4. Kate is such a lovely woman!

  5. Haha, that is a really cute store! Double date makes sense that it is the next step up from house. =) She seems to have a really great sense of fashion and how to dress herself. I've been impressed.

    p.s. i love your blog. =)

  6. DEF going to be glued to all the wedding details!! I absolutely love Kate Middleton! That is so funny that you would choose between the Prince and JFK Jr... I heart you! <333

  7. I am so excited to see their life grow and flourish in front of the world! Love em both...very exciting!!! THIS will be the Wedding of the Century!!! Sorry Chelsea Clinton.

  8. yay wiggle wiggle! thank you! i LOVE her outfit on the far left. something with that hat is so adorable. he's so handsome too. ahh.

  9. I am soooo excited! She is definitely one chic lady!

  10. BLAIR she totally looks like you!!!! so cute.

  11. Love this post! I too just love this couple. Kate is stunning and so sophisticated. It has brought back all my childhood memories of wishing I had an accent!

  12. This is going to be one heck of a wedding huh Blair? :) I can't wait to see how it turns out!! Loved your choice in BFs too. You are so classy, gorgeous! xoxo

  13. Your little glimpse into the past made me smile! Your new 'Queen to be' looks like a very cheerful and stylish lady to me :-)!

    Lieve groet, Madelief

  14. I totally love her hair pieces! She seems fun :)

  15. Thanks for the wiggle :)

Did you see the heirloom ring he gave her? Stunning.

  16. She definitely has great style! I can't wait to see the wedding.

  17. I have to say being "wiggled" was the highlight of my day ;-) I loved visiting the other blogs and will be watching on Wednesdays from now on!! I'm sure you will get more than you can stand of the happy royal couple. LOL Thanks for wiggling by (love the cute badge!)

  18. I really hope that this "love match" will work for them and that they have a lifetime of happiness.

I also have to say I'm pretty excited for the wedding and can't wait to see what Kate wears. She has great, classic style. If that blue Issa dress she wore yesterday is anything to go by it'll be a beauty.

As for the ring I can't say I love the idea, although I'm sure the sentiment behind it was sweet. Just seems strange to give a ring that was a symbol of a doomed union.

And Chloe, I'm totally with you about Benny!

  19. Oh how awesome! I was in love with Leonardo Dicaprio. Yep. He was such a babe in Titanic what can I say?

p.s. be sure to enter in my cupcake kit giveaway :)

  20. P.S. You are so sweet to think to come back and use my link. Thanks for reading about her!!

  21. Hi I'm Vera, one of the girls from the birds of a feathergirls blog & i just wanted to say thanxx for the wiggle!! XO. Vera

ps this link leads to my own blog ;)

  22. I'm right there with you on this one. I'll be glued beyond glued to the tele. I remember getting out of bed super early to watch the Charles and Di event even though I was just tiny.

Did you happen to hear the interview William and Kate did on BBC yesterday? He talked about her having posters and posters of him on her walls growing up. It was the sweetest/cutest/funniest thing ever!! He's a total charmer and she seems so very nice.

  23. aaw you are so cute!! btw, did I tell you I got your email, I think I did, right? :)
I had such a crush on him when I was on my teens, BIG BIG time!

  24. I'm right there with you, girlfriend. I am eating up all the wedding buzz.

I value your thoughts/encouragement/feedback. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment.
